Along with watch bracelets, I wanted to make some jewellery out of the left over copper as a present for my family.
I was greatly inspired by the artist Anastasia Pribelskaya and her jewellery making materials and techniques, I was once a student of hers. She remains an inspiration to me to this day and I wish I could learn more of her process.
The jewellery is made out of copper metal-clay and glass beads, both blown glass and normal beads (All handmade.)
This jewellery was made for my family members and myself, but I am greatly interested by the process and would be delighted to make some more.
The whole process of jewellery creation calms me down and is a kind of stress treatment for me, when my head is not clear enough- I turn to hand-crafting and jewellery making.
