The mosaic theme that I always tend to gravitate towards is very surrealistic. I try to combine many things that I like or find interesting at the time of making the mosaic.

The mosaics are made of simple tiles, hand made and painted. They are stuck to the wood panels with wood glue.

Personally, I find it extremely interesting and easy to make, although they do take a lot of time (but, I tend to make then in a span of a month.) Even though many people find these mosaics complicated and overwhelming, I actually think of it as an alternative to painting and prefer making mosaics as it limits my colour palette.

I try to keep some details constant, like water lilies, so that these works are always tied, almost using these objects little like my own signature.

This media and type of art work is fixed, with a lot of constrains and isn't as flexible as painting or drawing. This simplifies the method and a way of work so much, that I don't tend to notice the difficulty of creating such complex and big pieces of work. In many ways it is like doing the jigsaw puzzles.
